The hometown beginning

Her first beauty certificate came in 1991. Her first salon began in Sahnewal, her hometown. Learning a craft was one beginning; opening a place of her own was another. Her name now belonged to a business, as well as to the woman doing the work.
That salon began an entrepreneurial journey spanning 25+ years. The craft and the responsibility grew together: an artist’s eye, and an owner’s commitment to the people sitting in her chair.

2 years in Canada
VancouverA wider world. An open mind.
Then came two years training and serving clients in Vancouver, Canada. The setting changed; the learning continued. She took her foundation in Punjab into a different working world, adding another chapter to a practice that was already her own.

Today, the story continues at Bharti Beauty Studio & Academy in Model Town, Ludhiana. Clients come to the mirrors. Students learn on the same studio floor. The artist, the entrepreneur and the mentor share one address.
For a bride, it starts with the look she wants to feel like herself in. For a student, it starts with a skill she wants to make her own. This is where Bharti’s years of learning meet someone else’s next chapter.
