A facial at the studio is chosen for your skin on the day, not from a fixed menu. It usually moves through cleansing, gentle exfoliation, massage or a treatment step, a mask and a finishing moisturiser, with the steps adjusted to how your skin looks and feels when you arrive.
The appointment starts with a short conversation in the skin room: what you would like help with, what you use at home, and anything your skin has reacted to before. The type of facial, the time it needs and the price are confirmed with you then, before anything begins. A clean-up is the shorter, lighter version for regular maintenance between facials.

- 01Skin conversation
How your skin feels, your routine, recent treatments and any sensitivities.
- 02Cleanse and assess
Makeup and surface oil are removed so the skin can be looked at properly.
- 03Exfoliate and treat
Gentle exfoliation, then the steps chosen for your skin: massage, steam or a treatment product, as agreed.
- 04Mask
A mask suited to the day’s choice while the skin rests.
- 05Finish
Moisturiser, and sun protection if you are heading straight out.
Tell the studio first
- Any skin condition, such as active acne, eczema or rosacea, or a recent reaction.
- Recent peels, laser, injectables or any procedure done by a doctor or clinic.
- Pregnancy or medication that affects the skin; check with your doctor if unsure.
Aftercare, usually
- Keep makeup light for the rest of the day if you can.
- Avoid scrubs, strong actives and steam rooms for a day or so.
- Use sunscreen whenever you go out.
- Follow the aftercare the studio gives you for the products used.
