What it is,
and how it’s done here.
A haircut here is more than taking off length. It is a short consultation, a wash, the cut and a blow-dry finish, so you see the shape the way it is meant to sit.
The conversation happens at the mirror first. The studio looks at how your hair grows, its thickness, any colour on it and how you wear it on an ordinary weekday, then suggests a shape that suits that life.
Before anything is cut, you are told the price and roughly how long the appointment will take. If you want a bigger restyle combined with colour or a treatment, ask for the full plan in writing so you can decide calmly.
Your appointment
Haircut,
step by step.
- 01Talk at the mirror
You describe what you want and what bothers you now, and the studio checks your parting, growth patterns and ends.
- 02Agree the shape
Length, layers and the front are agreed in plain words, with your reference photos if you brought them.
- 03Wash
Hair is washed and conditioned so the cut starts from clean, even hair.
- 04The cut
The shape is built section by section, checking balance from the front, the sides and the back.
- 05Blow-dry finish
Hair is dried and styled so you can see the result and check it properly before you leave.
- 06Styling at home
You are shown how to dry it yourself, and roughly when a trim will keep the shape in order.
Tell the studio first
- Mention any recent colour, smoothing or chemical work, since it affects how the ends behave.
- Say if you have a function coming up; when you cut before an event matters.
- Bring reference photos, and point out which part of each you actually like.
Aftercare, usually
- Use the heat protection and drying habits the studio suggests, especially if you blow-dry at home.
- Give a new shape a wash or two before judging it; hair often settles.
- Book a trim when the ends feel dry or the line softens, rather than waiting for the shape to collapse.
- Follow the aftercare the studio gives you for any products used during the finish.
A better first conversation
Bring the reference. Keep your own character.
A photograph is a useful beginning. Your current hair, colour history, daily routine and the upkeep you want shape the conversation from there.
Your routine, reference or occasion.
The service, time, price and what is included.
The studio confirms the plan with you.
Before you choose
A few things,
made clear.
Is the wash and blow-dry part of a haircut?
Can I keep my length and still change the look?
Should I come with freshly washed hair?
What if I am not sure what I want?
Can I know the price before deciding?
Is my appointment confirmed when I send a request?
