Blow-dry & styling / At Bharti’s
What it is,
and how it’s done here.
A blow-dry is hair prepared, then dried and shaped with brushes and heat into a finish meant for one occasion. Styling adds waves, curls, volume or a sleek line, depending on the look you want.
The studio starts by looking at your hair and asking about the occasion, the outfit and whether you will be indoors or out. That decides the tools and the setting products, and whether your hair is better suited to waves or a smoother finish.
You are told what the styling costs and the time to allow before you agree. If you are booking several family members for the same day, ask for the combined plan and price written down.
Your appointment
Blow-dry & styling,
step by step.
- 01The brief
You share the outfit, the event and any photos. The studio checks your hair’s texture and how it usually holds a style.
- 02Preparation
Hair is washed if the style needs it, and a heat protectant goes on before any hot tools are used.
- 03Drying and shaping
Sections are dried over a brush to set the base: smooth, lifted or with movement.
- 04Styling
Waves, curls or a sleek finish are added with heat tools, then softened so they look natural.
- 05Setting and check
A light hold product sets the finish, and you check it from every side in the mirror.
Tell the studio first
- Say if your hair has recently been coloured or smoothed; it changes the heat and products used.
- Mention any scalp sensitivity to sprays or styling products.
- Bring a photo of the outfit and the style, so the two are planned together.
Aftercare, usually
- Avoid brushing waves hard; run your fingers through them if they need loosening.
- Carry a small comb and a few pins for touch-ups if the evening is long.
- Sleep with hair in a loose plait if you hope to keep some shape for the next day.
- Wash out styling products within a day or so, and follow the aftercare the studio gives you for the products used.
A better first conversation
Bring the reference. Keep your own character.
A photograph is a useful beginning. Your current hair, colour history, daily routine and the upkeep you want shape the conversation from there.
Your routine, reference or occasion.
The service, time, price and what is included.
The studio confirms the plan with you.
Before you choose
A few things,
made clear.
What is the difference between this and occasion hairstyling?
Will the waves hold all evening?
Should my hair be washed before I come?
Can I have makeup done at the same visit?
Can I know the price before deciding?
Is my appointment confirmed when I send a request?
